Ron Broadway — President and CEO Ron Broadway, President and CEO of Broadway Minerals Corporation -- a Dallas, TX, based minerals leasing company, has commanded the spoken word since he entered the professional arena. His ability to utilize the English language in varying business situations has enabled him to hone his proverbial pitch to a perfect tenor. His successes are many and his experiences have led him around the world; indeed in 1992 Ron sold the first portable oil topping plant to the Russian oil firm Lukoil. In this instance Russian was the primary form of communication, but Ron’s verve and passion translated and history was made. Ron brings a level of unbridled commitment and integrity to every position he pursues. His years of on the job performance have bestowed him with confidence and the power to wield a circumstance to financial success. Ron began his career in Jackson, MS at Lamar Life Insurance where has was an agent of whom marketed and managed group life & health benefits that were designed for small business owners. This position allowed Ron to navigate Southern Mississippi and meet with his customers, on a very personal level, to determine what program was best suited for their respective companies. The geography of Ron’s profession took a turn southwest to Dallas, TX where he was President of Bedco Properties. While at Bedco, Ron was responsible for the development, construction, marketing and management of joint venture, commercial real estate within the DFW metroplex. Under Ron’s auspice the following developments were accomplished in Texas: F Arlington’s Forest Oaks Plaza, J.V.; Grand Prairie’s Green Oaks, J.V.; and Oak Cliff’s Sam’s Wholesale Club Center. The combination of the aforementioned experiences brought Ron to his next endeavor, which was opening Broadway Energy and Development. In this capacity Ron assimilated development acreage for drilling and production programs in the Lower Tuscaloosa Oil play for the Heidelberg field in Southern Mississippi. The term “seasoned performer” was apt since he was back in a territory that he knew intricately and drew upon the interpersonal relationships he acquired while at Lamar Insurance. He was empowered with the absolute possibilities that lie ahead and in 1986 was recognized as one of Texas Monthly Magazine’s 100 Entrepreneur’s under 30 to watch. From this point forward Ron has worked within the investment and development industry. At the dawn of the new millennium Ron made the career decision to open Broadway Mineral Corporation. This final touch, to an already layered career, brought him back to Texas where he continues the art of negotiation, which is a form of art, but his canvases are sprawling landscapes where enriched earth awaits with boundless opportunities.
